Oriol Balaguer

Oriol Balaguer, a native of Calafell (Tarragona) was born on December 7, 1971. The pieces of chocolate that his father created, from the bakery and natural tradition of Sarriá, made him, from a young age, awaken that vocation for chocolate and that conviction that would be pastry chef, chocolatier and sweet cook. But he went further, he became one of the best, as reflected in his book "The Kitchen of Desserts". This gastronomic revolutionary, the first pastry chef in history to be part of a sweet game in a restaurant, studied at the Barcelona Pastry School. Subsequently, he trained in different businesses in Spain and abroad. Seven years he was part of the Bulli staff together with Ferran Adrià and his great friend Albert Adrià. He says of Balaguer that he is one of the most complete professionals in the world of gastronomy in the last 30 years.
